I just finished installing an Endyn style oil separator/catchcan. It basically adds a second (much larger) oil separator and PCV into the existing line to greatly reduce oil from the PCV system entering into the intake manifold and gunking it all up.

The parts are: Moroso PN 85470, Fram PCV FV294, Help! Ford PCV grommet, and a 90 degree elbow with 5/16" nipple (shown later)

Here's the can (with old nipple on side...I had to switch to a 90deg one):

Here it is installed into my engine bay:

Here is a closeup of the outlet line that leaves the factory PCV and connects to the inlet (side) of the catchcan:

Here is a closeup of the hoses at the catchcan. The side connector is where the line from the factory PCV valve plugs in. The top one is the line that goes to the intake manifold.

I removed this bracket that was attached to the passenger side shock tower. The catchcan bolted on using the existing holes with no modification. Woohoo! biggrin

Watch out with the tubing you've used. I used the same stuff and it lasted two weeks before the vacuum managed to collapse the tubing at idle. You'll probably need to get something that's more sturdy.

I saw TOO's warning about this, so I made sure to get the thick-wall tubing. The standard stuff is 1/16"...this stuff is 3/32". I'll keep an eye on it though. smile

    Thanks,
    Sonny

Hey sonnyballs, are u getting a breather filter? That will help keep the manifold clean too. Preparing for the blower?

Breather filter is not used in TOO's setup. TOO uses a slanted tube to give the crank case positive pressure, which what Honda engineers originally intended. The original, unmodified design actually gives neg. pressure due to intake vaccum.
